T/K co-CEO Dean Trevelino's ultra running journey T/K co-CEO Dean Trevelino's ultra running journey began in 2012 when he was mistaken for the lead runner in a Ragnar Relay that had started 205 miles away at the Golden Gate Bridge. Curiosity turned into action, action turned into a team, and a year later he was legitimately finishing first in his ultra age group. From relay races that crossed cities and states to solo 100-mile and 24-hour races, ultra running became about endurance, adaptability and accountability. Managing pace, nutrition, pain and motivation mirrors the entrepreneur’s reality. Freedom comes with responsibility, and progress comes from consistent effort over time. "Today, it is less about conquering distance and more about finding interesting challenges, most recently racing through the mountains, rivers and jungle terrain of Costa Rica.
