Learning How to Sell Yourself!

Here at Trevelino/Keller we host bi-annual Interview Camp’s where we invite job-seeking professionals into our office for 45 minute one-on-one sessions where they may ask questions, review resumes, discuss their career goals, etc. It’s always our hope that the participants leave Interview Camp with more tools in their tool belt, starting them off on the right path and enabling them to embark on a successful job search.

Over the past few years since we launched Interview Camp, we have been introduced to all types  of up and coming stars in the PR and marketing world, some of whom need help finding the “star” within… sometimes it’s about cleaning up their resume, other times it’s about redefining their short term and long term goals based on past experience and future aspirations. Regardless of whether you have 15 years experience or merely 15 months, selling yourself in a job interview often times begins with being able to articulate how your past experience relates to the job you are seeking.

If you are looking for tips on how to clean up your resume or turn your next interview into a career, make sure to monitor PRStarbase for Trevelino/Keller’s next Interview Camp. In the meantime, check out a few of these resources!
